SCHOOL UNIFORM

UST students are representatives of the school in the community.   Their appearance and behavior should reflect that.  All students at The United School in Tokyo must wear the prescribed school uniform when attending school or when participating in school-organized events outside of school premises.

Objectives of Uniform Policy
  • to promote a sense of pride in the school
  • to promote a sense of unity and community
  • to foster pride in personal appearance
  • to make students feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance
  • to prevent students from creating a distraction in class by coming to school in fashionable clothes
  • to follow health and safety guidelines

The following guidelines are to be adhered to by all UST students at all times:
  1. All UST students must adhere to the UST Uniform Policy.
  2. For details about the UST uniform items, please visit the UST Uniform Guide.
