5. assessment/ trial
UST does not conduct entrance examinations for children applying to our preschool program (ages 3YO). The admission decision is most commonly based on the child & parent interview. Some students could be asked to attend a half-day trial to allow the School to assess their social-emotional development and ability to adapt.
Starting from Pre-K (K2), the School conducts age-appropriate English Literacy and Maths skills assessments. All students applying from overseas are assessed based on previous school records, confidential recommendations, and an oral English assessment via Zoom. Additionally, students remotely applying to the Middle School will undergo an online English and Math assessment.

6. Admission
Upon completing all the above application steps, successful applicants will receive a Letter of Admission from the school, followed by an invoice, indicating the amount and due dates for the joining fees. Joining fees are required to be paid in full and represent a one-time non-refundable amount required in order to secure your child's space at the school.
7. Waiting list
If seats in grade you are applying to are not available at the time of application, you could request a waiting list placement. In order to be put on the waiting list, all applicants must complete the Enrollment Steps 1-5 mentioned above. The Waiting List is only available for students who were considered "suitable for admission" as a result of the academic assessment.
