OUR APPROACH TO TEACHING AND LEARNING
At UST we believe the concept of lifelong learning and the idea that children learn new things every day. Learning should be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for everyone. Through our teaching we equip children with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to make informed choices about the important things in their future lives. Appropriate and effective teaching and learning experiences help children lead happy and rewarding lives.

- Children learn at different pace and in different ways
- Children start off with different knowledge, skills and understanding
- All children are entitled to access to a broad and balanced curriculum
- It helps raise standards by enabling children to reach their full potential
- It helps keep behavior difficulties to a minimum. Children who are well motivated and on task, doing activities that are closely matched to their skills and abilities are less likely to misbehave.
